Kate E Slater, MA, LMHC

Kate has been working half time at CPCS since August 2026, offering outpatient counseling with individuals, couples, and families. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Iowa and is training to be credentialed as a Spiritual Director through the Sustainable Faith School of Spiritual Direction.  She offers training on stress, burnout, couple and interpersonal communication, and conflict resolution.

Kate works halftime alongside her husband Keith with SIL Global.  They served overseas from 2000 - 2014, and since then have continue serve remotely in administrative roles. They live on a farm 25 miles west of Iowa City and attend West Union Mennonite Church.
